| | | First off let me give a belated thank you and hearty congratulations to all who made the Regionals happen. This includes the Region Executive, the 19 associations, the 86 teams and the 1400 players coaches and officials all working together to provide a suitable round-up for the 2016/2017 Western Region Regional teams. 86 teams, 169 games, 6 ice pads and 3 days to present medals in 39 divisions with 27 games tied, 50 games with a 1 goal spread and only 11 games with greater than a 5 goal spread. Including Sunday every team was able to play competitively in a minimum of 4 games and in the competition for the medal round. The seeding process instituted three years ago by the WORL league this year proved its worth. Once again thank you and see you next year. | |
