GENERAL MEETING

1.0 Welcome

2.0 Roll Call - Present: Dorchester, Elora-Fergus, Exeter, Goderich, Guelph, Hanover, Kitchener, London, Mitchell, Owen Sound, Seaforth, St. Marys, Stratford, SWIRL, Tillsonburg, Waterloo, Wellington North, Woolwich, Grey Bruce League, Huron Perth League, Talbot Trail League, North Waterloo League.

3.0 Minutes of September meeting. Moved to accept by Woolwich, Seconded St. Clements Passed.

4.0 No business arising from Minutes.

5.0 Treasurer’s Report - see attached. Moved to accept by Owen Sound, Seconded Huron Perth. Passed.

6.0 DISCUSSION ON PROPOSALS FROM MEMBERS

Option One - team for under 12 (a) large associations - closed shop (b) smaller assocs. Go ahead and make provincial team

Option Two - Enhancement as previously suggested done early in season. Retake vote

Associations need to know early to reserve ice.

Associations to consider proposals and discussions and come back in January

7.0 Coordinator’s Reports - see attached.

Adult Development - no report

Coaching - no report

Elite - no report. WORL year going well

G&T Report - report on website. Janet reminded again that she would be leaving the position for the ORA position and we need to get a replacement.

Membership Services - Arena audits missing. Keith will advise. Keith advised meeting of the four tribunals and the results.

Officiating - no report

8.0 New Business

Come Try Ringette - done by Exeter, Forest, Waterloo - fairly good results.

Associations turned in forms and funds to Janet re: Provincial deposits.

Remember for January meeting we will be looking for $200.00 non-refundable deposit for Regionals. Also, Provincial Team fees deadline is February 1st.

Associations picked up cheques or bills for Prelim/Prov/Regional adjustment, 2008.

Eastern Tween Championships to be in Guelph April 2, 3, 4. Looking for sponsors.
