No report. Challenge Cup played on the weekend in London tournament. Won Gold! 7-6 against the eastern team in the final game. The team is always in need of practice ice time, please contact Donna Jones.

9.0 Come Try Ringette

Sarah Watters, Athletic Development Coordinator for ORA

Training Program. Contact Chuck to book your dates. Mary or Chuck will have the backdrop to run your program. Communication is key with the potential of these new players. Suggestion - run the program in various sections of the Region. August - September will the busy time. Instructional program, the taste will get them hooked and they will be back next year. Don't be afraid to be creative! Very professional introduction to the sport. Looking for feedback after you run your program. Formulate frequently asked questions. Send to Sarah. Will be added the website for others to see these questions and answers. One manual per association. Thank you Sarah for coming.

10.0 Announcements

Tournament, Mitchell. See website. Saturday, December 1st. Players wearing team sweater get in free. TRFs from everyone except Owen Sound Ladies. Fax to Janet or send to Keith a.s.a.p.

11.0 New Business

Thank you extended to all for coming tonight.

New players joining your team through the Come Join Ringette program. January 8th deadline for registration. Restriction for Regionals - unless a whole new team formed. A new player joining a team after deadline would probably not make a huge sensation.

Elora-Fergus - Mouth Guards, take back to your association for discussion, everyone should be wearing them. Helps prevent concussions! Membership Services has not received issue on mouth guards, shoulder pads only at this point. You may want to make it an association rule. Suggest to ORA that it be a provincial issue. WORL policy? Including everyone up to and including Belle. Wellington North implemented this rule last year. Bring a written motion for the January 2008 meeting.
