Coaching Development 2008/2009

The following clinics took place:

CSI clinics

There were 5 held with a total of 95 coaches attending.

CI clinics

There were 2 held with a total of 27 coaches attending.

Gradation clinics

There were 2 held with a total of 23 coaches attending.

Level 2 evaluations (this was the last year to complete these). There were 4 completed.

CI/Gradation evaluations- There were 18 completed this year.

Recertification

All Associations

Those coaches who are on a TRF for this season and have level 1 or CSI from 2003 will be required to attend a 3 hour clinic and complete an online Ethics Evaluations prior to provincials or regional’s. This recertification will be good til 2013.

If coaches are unsure of their current level they can check it by going to www.coach.ca. Click on “check certification” at the top of the page. You will need your NCCP#.

I would like all the coaching coordinators from each association to confirm the numbers of coaches in their association requiring this recertification. This will help to determine the clinic locations.

These clinics will be posted on the WRRA website once scheduled. There will be a fee, but this has yet to be determined. Coaches will need to register online prior to the clinic.
