Open discussion regarding A teams:
Question from Forest regarding player movement – directed to speak to Keith offline.
Stewart Findlater asked for clarification from WR on the release policy. This is a WR Executive issue.
Still issues regarding player movement and player releases. The following should be reviewed throughout the season:
Releases out of Association to play at a higher level.
Penalties in place for players avoiding the processes in place and join the process after teams formed.
If the Associations have to commit to AA team players, should the AA players have the same commitment?
Fringe Associations – how can we help the fringe associations creating and keeping teams/players?
A tryout timing was difficult in August due to holidays and Eagle Lake
A teams can be bumped to AA – process involved and is an ORA G&T issue.
WORL Process – Peter emphasized that the League has recently enforced the processes in place. The League will be taking more control than in the past, instead of the parents/players/coaches taking control. Policies, Procedures and Guidelines will be followed.
